Microsoft announced some time ago that it's providing a removal tool for the Bookshelf Symbol 7 font because it contains 2 swastikas. The odd thing is that it didn't mention that the font also contains the Star of David which is part of the font.
Hmmm...
But the weirdest thing is that now it qualifies as a critical update. I mean, c'mon. Why the need to make it mandatory to remove the whole font? There's more meaning to the swastika than as a symbol for the Nazi movement. And who's supposed to find it offensive? Jews who are pissed off that the swastikas are in the same font with the Star of David? Or skinheads who are pissed off because the Star of David is in the same font as the swastikas?
Makes you think, dunnit?
