Down with Bush!

Caught Fahrenheit 9/11 with Len last week. I personally prefer this one to Bowling With Columbine. (Len thinks Bowling was better). While in Bowling, Moore comes across as kinda pretentious and preachy, on Fahrenheit he's a lot better.

But then again, maybe it's because of the subject matter this time. :P

In Fahrenheit, Bush is shown as the incompetent nitwit that he is, and the politicians on the Hill and in the White House as, well, politicians. After the show ended, the entire theatre broke into spontaneous applause. Something that I've only seen happen for The Matrix. The original one, that is.

Wow, goes to show how much people hate Bush. I hope the two Johns win this election. It'll be the best thing that happens to America in quite a while.

Speaking of elections, I've got a theory why Americans elected Bush in the last elections. In the last election, it was Gore versus Bush, and, of course, during the presidential debates it became obvious what each candidate was like. Gore is a robot, and Bush is a clown. What I figure the swing voters think when they decide who to vote for is: "Hmmm... I wonder which one would make better TV. The robot? Or the clown?" But then again, that's just one man's theory.

Anyhoo, recently, there was yet another famous Bush gaffe that made the rounds. It went like this: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Hmmm.... :P
